This is a photo of one of the HH-43's at Det. #3 in the hangar. The yellow basket on top of the locker to the right rear of the hangar is a Water Basket. This basket could be lowered into the water for survivors to climb into. We had no real water hazards at Ubon, but training on the basket was required for qualification.
